Starbucks now offers free wi-fi for all customers provided by Bell Canada. I designed the landing page that users see when they first load their device up on the network. The point of the page was to deliver the great content Sympatico.ca has to offer to the Starbucks users once they log in.

Currently I am a full-time employee of Bell Sympatico working as the sole web designer. There I am tasked with developing creative marketing & advertising campaigns as well as working with the content producers to maintain the overall look and feel of Sympatico.ca and the various other internal properties.

I also run a successful freelance design business which has afforded me the opportunity to work with a wider array of exciting new clients. Through this business I expend my extra creative energy creating websites and identities for companies of all sizes.

The Discovery Channel re-launched it’s website February 1st 2009 showcasing the fresh new look, improved usability, and increased functionality. The goals of the new design was to change formats from the old blog style format to one that employs a more modular content that is better optimized for ease of browsing.

Delta Urban Inc. is a performance driven company that provides strategic and technical advice to assist in various components of the land acquisition and development approvals process.

Based out of Vaughan, Ontario, our projects span the Greater Toronto Area and much of South Central Ontario

Designs 1st (formally Dezines Plus) a design/construction company that was established in 1990 to better serve the needs of people building custom homes or remodeling. Their clients take advantage of our proven system to remain in control of their project, build a quality home and save thousands of dollars.

The newly renamed company requested my services for a re-brand and online re-facing of their current website. After creating the new logos I began working with Luke Kilpatrick, the developer, to design a website that would skin the Broadchoice development platform.

I used dark earthy tones similar to what the company applies when creating homes for their customers in Southern California. Shades of brown and burgundy help emphasize the strength of the logo and body copy.

Another Designer was employed to work on the website since launch, and as a result the current online version of the website has some errors.

Edward Carson’s linked poems praise at once the logic of love and the place of love. Taking Shape combines his elegance of style and imagination (think of a musical composition) with the immediacy of the erotic. A rare performance.

Ed Carson’s Taking Shape is a gem.
